American History – Achievements

The Achievements American History Curriculum begins with the exploration and discovery of America.

It presents primary and secondary sources to relay the historical facts, along with pictures and colorful maps to make the history lessons more interesting.

The Teacher’s Edition includes the many famous Jewish people who lived during the time period covered and their contributions, as well as major events that impacted Jews during that time.

The teacher’s Edition states the objectives for each lesson and guides the teacher with information and techniques on how to present the lesson.

Volume 1 tells the story of America from Columbus discovering the new world until the Louisiana Purchase and George Washington deciding not to run for a 3rd term.

Volume 2 covers the period of James Madison and the War of 1812 until the end of the Civil War and Lincoln’s assassination.
